Time to Renegotiate?
WARNING: This might stir you. You may feel poked. You could get peeved. Should you feel annoyed, my suggestion is to shift your perspective and read the invitations again. If after reading this you feel confused or foggy minded, know that could be resistance. Take a break for sure, but perhaps come back and read another time.
Questions
Are you struggling to fulfill “your end of the deal” in personal commitments?
Do you express a desire for others to create content or a support structure for you, then not show up to what’s created?
Do you hide behind a smokescreen of “busy”?
I realize you can be in a short-term situation of overwhelm with a bit too much on your plate, but I also know “busy” is an easy place to HIDE. Here’s a bit of truth.
EVERYBODY IS BUSY
Your personal integrity is important. If you find yourself using “busy” as your go-to reason for not doing things you said you would do, or showing up half-heartedly to commitments you’ve made, then I believe it is imperative for you to get better at telling your truth.
Start with truth telling TO YOU only. It takes practice, so hone this skill with yourself first. Truth telling with others can come later. And, if you answered yes to any of the questions posed above, it could be time to check in with your soul’s desires.
Deeper Layer of Questions
Have your TRUE needs changed and now live in conflict with your commitments?
Or, have you lost connection to your vision?
Is the former comfort of what is known creating friction as it rubs against what's next?
Are you reacting from an outdated personal paradigm you still have one foot planted in?
Internal assessments can be daunting. It’s hard to know what change might come when you move toward AWAKE + AWARE. However, it can be equally uncomfortable and far more damaging long-term to stay in denial.
Feeling disheartened, discouraged,
disenchanted or generally dis-sed in life?
Your best opportunities for change - perhaps your only opportunities for real change - await you on the path of personal exploration. You don’t need to stay there or dwell there. But GO there! Ask yourself the real questions. If you need a guide to go with you, hire one. If you’d like support of tools for the journey, seek them out.
Seek to FIND what needs tending to most,
ILLUMINATE what is wanting to happen for you, and then
MAKE choices and commitments in alignment with your current truths.
This is about questioning, discovery, deciding and IMPLEMENTATION. Action is required. You may need to get honest with others. You might be guided to renegotiate commitments and/or some relationships.
You could find your
brilliant ~ sparkly ~ deeply satisfying life!
